GENERAL NATURE TOURS
1. Night Jungle Walk
The jungle comes alive at night! Experience the unique sights and sounds of nocturnal plants and insects. Look out for luminous mushrooms, luminous fungus, glowing worms, fireflies, bird-eating spider, cicadas and other insects.

2. Jungle Trekking to Canopy Walkway & Teresek Hill
Discover the natural secrets of the rainforest’s flora and fauna. Cross the world’s longest canopy walkway, stretching over 530 metres and suspended at a height of 40 metres from the forest floor. Equipped with 9 stopover platforms, this is definitely one of the best ways to observe the plants, birds and animals of the lowland dipterocarp rainforest. Climb up Teresek Hill for a glimpse of Mount Tahan, the highest peak in Peninsular Malaysia.


3. Lata Berkoh Cruise
Enjoy a scenic and relaxing boat ride along Tahan River, a tributary running from Gunung Tahan, the highest point in Peninsular Malaysia. Support a good cause by adopting a fresh water fish as part of Taman Negara’s eco-conservation project at Lubok Tenor Fish Sanctuary. You can also participate in fish feeding or snorkeling with the fishes. Continue on a 10 minute boat ride and a short trek and you will be rewarded with a refreshing dip at a natural ‘Jacuzzi Pool’.

4. Rapids Shooting
Shoot against 7 sets of rapids to Kuala Trenggan in a wooden boat and be prepared to get wet and have lots of adrenaline-pumping fun!



5. Visit to Orang Asli Settlement
The aborigines known as the Batek tribe have been living in Taman Negara for centuries. They are known as great hunters in Taman Negara and still practise a nomadic way of life. The tribal youth will demonstrate the art of survival in the jungle including fire-making and blowpipe skills, along with a display of traditional handicraft making techniques.

6. Sunset River Cruise
Short boat cruise along Tembeling River. A good time for birdwatching as you try to spot birds like the kingfisher, hornbills, storm stork and fish eagle. Look for jumping fishes, river otters, and water buffaloes along the journey.
7. Night Safari by 4x4
Travel by 4-wheel drive within oil palm plantation in search for nocturnal animals like leopard cat, wild boar, snakes, water buffalos and fish owl.
8. Night River Safari
The river safari cruises along Tembeling River – keep your eyes open for nocturnal animals drinking water by the riverbank such as the sambar deer, barking deer, wild boar, and sometime tiger.
9. Cave Exploration
Explore caves in Taman Negara and be amazed with the rock formation that took thousand of years to form. Take a look for thousands of bats, cave racer snake, millipede, centipede and giant toad.
Note : Gua Telinga is closed but other caves including Gua Kepayang Besar, Gua Kepayang Kecil, Gua Luas and Gua Daun Menari are opened but visitors need to pre-plan for an overnight stay at Gua Kepayang Besar due to long distance (not available for day trip).
